Zeiss Zen Software For Mac
The upgraded ZEN software and “Smart Setup” feature allows for easy importing of fluorophore configurations, while the Definite Focus component can help to correct axial drift during long-term capture. The Zen software comes in a free or “Light” version for the PC for basic image organization, projection and formatting. For image analysis, on account of the heavy use of the confocal microscope, users are encouraged instead to use one of three other alternative image analysis options described below. The current version of ZEN remote connects to confocal imaging workstations by ZEISS that are running ZEN 2012 SP1 with Remote Patch or ZEN 2, e.g. LSM 700, LSM 710/780, or LSM 880. This application is for research use only.

- CZI files can be analyzed and visualized with Carl Zeiss' ZEN software. There is also a Java API called ZeissCZIReader that can be used for programmatically reading the contents of CZI files. ZeissCZIReader is part of Fiji, which is incorporated into the ImageJ image processing software.
